An award-winning producer with a get-it-done (with a smile) attitude, Ralph Scott produces audiobooks, audio theatre, scripted entertainment, commercial spots, music and vocalists, and pretty much anything within the audio arena.
The characters Ralph creates on the spot (we lost count just north of 83) are only bested by the number of children's verses he has written since he was handed a cocktail napkin on a dare back in 1993. (That would be just north of 1,700.) Give him three words and he'll compose a witty poem for you in under five minutes.
Give him a studio and your manuscript and he'll vibrantly breathe life into any scene and character you craft.
Ralph turns the studio into a theatre for the ear. Be sure to grab a chair the next time you download one of his audiobook or audio drama productions. And dim the lights. And don't forget the popcorn.
You'll swear you're in a movie.
A Cornell Aggie who has worked in the entertainment industry since 1986, Ralph is a member in good standing with the Audio Publishers Association and serves on the Board of Directors of the HEAR Now Festival, the preeminent audio arts festival in the United States. He has also coached new writers and published authors on how to open doors and close deals at the San Francisco Writers Conference for the past 10 years. He has produced more than 30 radio dramas for the Petaluma Radio Players in Petaluma, California.
Accomplishments aside, Ralph considers his prize production his daughter, LuLu (age 9 at the time of this writing) who is showing early signs of simply terrific talent behind the mic as a narrator. Ralph is married to audiobook narrator / producer, Kendra Murray. Together, the two produce Solo, Dual, and Duet Narration audiobooks under their SQUEAKY CHEESE PRODUCTIONS banner.
Multi-award winning producer, Kendra Murray, first embraced the thespian life as a performer in numerous plays in high school and college. Her Directorial debut for a senior project earned her the school's prestigious Drama Cup.
Kendra later apprenticed at, and managed the Box Office of the Berkshire Theatre Festival in Stockbridge, Mass. After leaving the East Coast for California in the late '80s, Kendra put her acting and directing career on hold to pursue her other passion: health care. A registered nurse, Kendra engaged in drama of the life and death variety for more than 10 years. Eventually, after responding to an online ad, she auditioned for and was accepted into the emerging audio theatre troupe: the Petaluma Radio Players. There, she performed, produced and directed radio plays several of which earned Platinum, Gold, and Bronze recognition at the 2018 and 2019 HEAR Now Festival in Kansas City, MO.
Now, Kendra narrates audiobooks across many genres, as solo narrator and as duet narrators with her husband, Ralph Scott, all available on audible.com. She frequently “speaks” in character voices for her dog, Gandalf, and her cats, Merlin and Saffira. She has two young adult children and a stepdaughter. Kendra is an avid knitter and spinner, and is very crafty.
