Michael “PEIK” Peikoff is a native Californian who was born in Los Angeles and attended UCLA and graduated with Honors from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a dream to become an anchorman. He joined the nascent Fox Broadcasting as the oldest intern in 1987 and quickly rose through the ranks to become the Vice-President of Publicity in 1990. Recruited by Warner Bros. Consumer Products to run Communications in 1992 where he spearheaded some of WBCP ‘S keyinitiatives: Vice-President of Property Development, Vice-President of Licensee Business Development, and Vice-President of WB Sport. He went onto become a Senior-Vice President at Sony Pictures and a Senior-Vice President at Twentieth Century Fox in their respective consumer products divisions.
Peikoff was to become the unofficial “voice” of Fox, Warner Bros. and Sony Pictures where he pursued his first love of voice over and was consistently requested to narrate myriad content projects, including but not limited to: Twentieth Century Fox’s employee orientation film seen/heard by thousands of ‘onboarding’ executives. Network interstitial Public Service Announcements featuring the beloved ‘’Looney Tunes” for a ‘green’/ recycling initiative. Produced, wrote and was featured in a short film with Motivational Speaker Anthony ‘Tony’ Robbins pertaining to intellectual property development, team and brand building. And speaking of films. On a dare from his late sister Lori—he won the role as an ‘anchorman’ in the classic horror film ‘The Stepfather 2’ over 4 dozen journeyman actors/actresses while the Vice-President of Publicity for the Fox Broadcasting Company. (He got to fulfill his dream as ‘everyman’s anchorman!)
He pivoted into the Senior Living Industry with the fulfilling work of working with the elder demographic and families living with mild cognitive impairment and dementia.
Peikoff resides in Calabasas California and has two remarkable daughters, Lauren and Natalie. Lauren is an Executive Producer at MSNBC (New York) with four Emmy nominations and Natalie recently received her Master of Sciences and is aggregating her clinical hours to become a LFMT in Denver, Colorado.
